Gladly we report here the last reviews from October 31st and November 15th editions.
Amarone Classico 2009 (94 points). Tasting Notes: “Shows a fine marriage between Amarone’s more traditional and modern styles. A fresh, medium to full bodied red, framed by chalcky tannins, this offers a mix of wild herb and underbrush notes, pure, crushed black cherry and pomegranade fruit, tarry mineral and accents of citrus peel, mocha and spice that linger on the welldefined finish. Best from 2018 through 2030. 500 cases made._A.N.”
Amarone Classico Riserva “La Mattonara” 2006 (94 points). Tasting Notes: “Christmas spice, orange compote, date and plumped cherry flavors leave the way in this bright and lively red, wrapping around and flashing out the grippy, tannic frame. Tightly meshed and mouth watering, with savory accents of espresso, iron and grilled herb playing off the fruit and spice notes on the lasting finish. Drink now through 2029. 250 cases made._A.N.”
